Island Princess ExteriorWelcome to Venice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (WHS)! Today we are transported from the airport to our magnificent ship - the Pacific Princess - ready to begin our journey. Later this evening we set sail.

Day 3 - Split Croatia

Diocletian Palace CourtyardSplit and the Dalmatian Riviera have been premier destinations on the Adriatic since the days of the Roman emperors. A must see visit is Diocletian's Palace & Cellar (WHS) - built at the turn of the 4th century, or St. Domnius' Cathedral - full of ancient sculptures and a striking Bell Tower. People's Square and Old Town are a history buff's dream. Shop or sip coffee on Marmontova Street, or stroll the Riva, a bustling waterfront promenade.

Day 4 - Kotor Montenegro

Kotor BayBordered by towering limestone cliffs, the winding bay is Southern Europe's longest and most dramatic fjord. Today we are tendered into Kotor (WHS). The port itself is a medieval gem: its narrow, asymmetrical streets are lined with ancient stone houses, old palaces, and churches dating from the 12th century. The Maritime Museum chronicles Kotor's rich naval history, or we may enjoy the streets of the old port - lined with pubs, taverns and cafés.

Day 5 - At Sea

Relaxing on BalconyA soothing day at sea for us. We may indulge our chocolate fantasies in the main dining room or at Horizon Court. We can relax in the spa, or take in some of the enriching cultural activities on board our home away from home.

Day 6 - Santorini Greece

View over SantoriniOn Santorini, whitewashed buildings cling to sheer cliffs that plunge to a turquoise sea. Today we may enjoy the Prehistoric Museum - a treasure trove of history and culture. This region is famous for world-class wines, and we can visit some of the world's oldest vineyards. Santorini is famous for its black sand beaches created by volcanic activity, this area is teeming with watersports, cafes and tavernas.

Day 7 - Rhodes Greece

Medieval RhodesWe have a busy day ahead of us in Rhodes (WHS)! This medieval walled city is a living settlement of some 6,000 people who live and work in the same buildings that were used by the knights over 500 years ago! Explore the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, or the Palace of the Grand Masters. Wonder at Mandraki Harbour & Colossus of Rhodes; the bronze statue of the Greek god Helios stood 110 feet high on a 50 foot pedestal, before being felled by an earthquake. Or just wander the streets of the old walled city and enjoy the shopping.

Day 8 - Mytilene Greece

harbourOver ten million olive trees share the hillsides with medieval castles, Greek ruins, churches, art museums, and 19th century mansions. Visit Agiassos Village on the slopes of Mt. Olympus, Agiassos is a traditional mountain hamlet of tree-lined stone streets and noted for its fine potteries and wood carvings. Or wander through the Barbayannis Ouzo Distillery. This 150-year-old facility creates "the best ouzo in the world."

Day 9 - Athens Greece

Saturday, November 18th, 2017

Athens AcropolisAtop the Acropolis, the serene Parthenon sails above the commotion of the modern city. We should take one of the optional excursions today to travel into Athens (WHS) from the port of Piraeus. We may want to visit the Temple of Zeus or the Old Olympic Stadium. Built on the foundations of a 4th-century BC arena, this stadium hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 and was used in the 2004 Olympics. Athens is riddled with museums, where world-class collections can be viewed and enjoyed. Be sure to visit the Plaka, an historic 19th-century shopping district and marketplace

Day 10 - Mykonos Greece

Sunset in MykonosMykonos town features hip boutiques, restaurants, jewellery stores, souvenirs, taverns and cafés. The island's famed windmills are found just south of the waterfront. Situated under the Byzantine Monastery of St. John, charming, whitewashed homes and blue-domed churches are built into the hillside, and narrow, winding streets reveal shops at every turn. Walk along one of Mykonos' beaches - known for their crystalline waters and long stretches of pristine sand.

Day 11 - At Sea

Movie Under The StarsAfter five full days touring, a day at sea will be a welcome treasure. We'll pamper ourselves in spa, and enjoy the vibrant entertainment our ship has to offer. Perhaps take in a movie, or a magic show!

Day 12 - Dubrovnik Croatia

Dubrovnik HarbourOur day beings in the jewel of Dubrovnik. Visit the picture-perfect "Old Town" (WHS). A medieval walled city, which offers ancient stone buildings, narrow cobbled streets and fortified ramparts rising above red-tiled rooftops. Here we will enjoy the museums and libraries, cathedrals and palaces.

Day 13 - Rijeka Croatia

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017

Roman ArenaBeautiful Rijeka awaits us today! With its Roman walls, medieval churches, and the hilltop Trsat Castle, a 13th-century fortress offering 360-degree views of the city, there is much to see and enjoy. A stroll down the "Korzo" is the perfect opportunity to window shop in charming boutiques. An excursion to visit Pula would be well worth while.

Day 14 - Disembark Ship - Return Home
